I’m Siobain, an artist and mum to two incredible children. I became a practising facial therapist in 2018 after many years as an art lecturer, a creative, workshop leader, mentor, support worker and sexual health worker.
I moved to Stroud from Birmingham in 2004 and have made Rodborough my home – I cleared the land in my garden myself, months of digging! for my lovely custom built cabin, which is a safe haven for creativity & treatments. I am also very privileged to have been the resident Facial Specialist Practitioner at Neal’s Yard Remedies in Montpellier, Cheltenham for 4 years.
I have a life long interest in skincare and aromatherapy and began training in facial & relaxation therapy a few years ago. I have trained in Beauty Facials with Gateway Training, Holistic Facials & Lift and Sculpt certificates at Neal’s Yard Remedies in Covent Garden, Anatomy & Physiology with Cotswold Academy, and hold a current MASCED (Melanoma & Early Skin Cancer detection) certificate.
A good facial is a very special treatment – I wanted to create a really gentle, inviting space to practice, that you wouldn’t want to leave, coupled with the most wonderful touch therapy and focussed facial massage, using the finest quality organic products that really have an impact on the quality of the skin and your wellbeing. I love getting to know you and your skin, making a plan and bringing the magic.

With an intuitive sense of smell and love for essential oils, I have studied their effects for many years and have recently completed a Professional Certificate in Aromatherapy. For centuries, women have been using herbs for healing and as I continue to work with these powerful ingredients I gain a deeper understanding of the therapeutic qualities of these plant extractions.
Over the years I have become increasingly mindful of the damage that human consumption causes our earth. Therefore I strive to use only ethically sourced ingredients and products in my treatments. This means more than simply finding good quality organic ingredients, it means a commitment to caring for people and the planet in a proactive, re-generative way. I will not use products that are made in an exploitative way to the best of my knowledge.
My Wellbeing & Facial Journey began with using Neal’s Yard Remedies Organic products in my treatments, as I have found them to be the best quality, for their aromatherapeutic value, their beneficial effects on the skin and the low impact and our beautiful home planet earth. Their commitment to sustainability and good practise means I don’t have to worry about where my ingredients are sourced.
